The Project

Lineage of acoustic breath

We capture the raw resonance of ancient instruments, recording in natural sanctuaries where ancestral lineages find modern expression through cinematic visual-audio tapestries. Every project documents an unbroken lineage of sound.

The Mission

Geography of sound

Our recordings honor the physical origins of acoustic traditions. By pairing master instrumentalists with cinematic environmental filming, we document the deep connection between ancient musical lineages and the landscapes that shaped them.

We reject standard sterile studio settings. Instead, we travel to remote deserts, misty forests, and ancient stone ruins, capturing the natural acoustic breath of instruments that have survived centuries of cultural transition.

The Sound

Acoustic breath preserved

We focus on three primary acoustic families, documenting each instrument in the specific geographic environment that complements its historical origin.

Ancestral Winds

Resonant Strings

Earthy Percussion

Capturing the raw, wooden timbre of rare flutes and clay ocarinas recorded in ancient stone chambers.

Preserving the intricate sympathetic vibrations of multi-stringed lutes played in high-ceilinged sanctuaries.

Documenting the deep, low-frequency pulse of hand-stretched frame drums in open desert landscapes.

The Curators

Hands behind the lens

We are a collective of field recordists, cinematographers, and cultural researchers dedicated to preserving acoustic heritage. Through careful collaboration with local communities, we bridge historical acoustic lineages with contemporary visual art.
